- Brookes Fine Art 2011 Private View, Oxford 13 May
- Open Sauce featured writer Eirini Kartsaki performed a 20 minute response to the evolution of the story, from stereotypical erotica to a collaborative tapestry of fantasies.
- Velvet Tongue, London 16 May
- Open Sauce featured writer Eirini Kartsaki performed a short extract from the piece she created in response to the text, alongside other erotically themed performance.

- US podcaster and writer Mia On Top chose her favourite version of the Open Sauce story so far, and read it in her podcast I Want Your Sex.
- Open Source Culture: Radical Notes on the Internet, Oxford 19 May
- Open Sauce fcilitator Nor joined open source developer and activist Carl Van Tonder at the Oxford Radical Forum, for a discussion on the relevance of open source to radical social change. 7:30pm, Wadham College. Free entry.

- Erotic Awards & Night of the Senses, London 20 May
- Open Sauce was a finalist at the 2011 Erotic Awards, in the Storytelling category. The finals took place at the charity ball NIght of the Senses. Event details & tickets >>
- Open Sauce: A Literary Analysis, by LaSophielle
- New writing in response to Open Sauce by sex-positive activist and blogger LaSophielle. Sophielle considered the evolution of the Open Sauce story, looking at which bits have changed, which were kept, and why. Available at the Oxford Brookes Fine Art Degree Show.
- Open Sauce: A Graphic Visualization, Oxford 14-21 May
- Showing as part of the Brookes Fine Art Degree Show 2011, Open Sauce facilitator Nor presented a digital visualization of how the story has been tweaked by each person who's edited it. A fascinating chance to see how your changes have interacted with others as the story has evolved.
