Where does the story come from?

The starting-point for Open Sauce is a stereotypical erotic story. It is composed entirely of short quotes lifted from a variety of paperback romance novels. It follows the Mills & Boon guidelines for aspiring authors, which are publicly available and include:

• The hero must be very alpha and absolutely to die for.
• Use highly-charged conflicts: conflict spawns tension and excitement.
• Avoid secondary characters: keep the focus on the hero and heroine.
